For this home in Zwanenburg, Studio Å created a complete interior design for the ground floor, the master bedroom, and the adjoining walk-in closet. The result is a luxurious and warm interior where high-quality materials, smart layouts, and refined details come together.
The spacious eat-in kitchen forms the heart of the ground floor. Centrally located in the room is a generous kitchen island with space for four bar stools, creating a cozy spot where family and guests can comfortably gather. The countertop is finished in exclusive Taj Mahal quartzite with a stylish leather finish, ensuring a natural and luxurious appearance.
The kitchen is finished in beautiful dark-colored panel material from Decolegno, combined with refined brass-look details. This combination contributes significantly to the warm, luxurious, and timeless appearance of the space.
A modern induction hob with integrated extraction is incorporated into the kitchen island, preserving the sleek design. On the front of the island, we created an atmospheric niche using brass-look paneling, ideal for decorative accessories. Additionally, an integrated wine cooler has been added for extra luxury and functionality.
The wide back wall accommodates high-quality built-in appliances, including a spacious refrigerator, freezer, combination oven, dishwasher, and Quooker. As a result, the designer kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences.
Two elegant wall shelves have been installed above the wide niche, crafted from the same Taj Mahal quartzite as the worktop. Thanks to the integrated LED lighting, the kitchen gains extra depth, warmth, and atmosphere, both during the day and in the evening.
With this custom interior design, Studio Å created a stylish living space where luxury, functionality, and timeless design are in perfect balance.
In addition to the luxurious eat-in kitchen, the ground floor features a beautiful custom-made TV unit, fully designed as an integrated part of the interior. Adjacent to the unit, Studio Å installed a stylish custom pivot door that flows seamlessly into an adjoining custom cabinet. Because all elements are recessed into the thickened wall, a particularly sleek, calm, and high-quality overall appearance is created.
The TV unit features an elegant steel niche in which the television is subtly recessed. Additionally, the wide gas fireplace forms an atmospheric focal point within the room. Luxurious details such as leather upholstery give the custom-made piece extra warmth, character, and exclusivity.
The lighting plan on the ground floor is also fully coordinated with the interior design and the custom-made pieces. A large portion of the lighting is subtly recessed into the suspended ceiling, creating a calm appearance and a refined ambiance in the evening hours.
The walls are largely finished with high-quality linen wallpaper, adding extra atmosphere, texture, and warmth to the interior. Through the combination of custom-made furniture, luxury materials, integrated lighting, and refined finishes, Studio Å created an exclusive interior where comfort and design come together perfectly.
The extension's facade is finished with elegant vertical wooden cladding, giving it a warm yet modern look. This natural material immediately adds character and ambiance to the garden and creates a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living.
At the front of the house, a spacious master bedroom has been designed, featuring a custom-made storage unit with oak veneer fronts. This custom solution adds both warmth and functionality.
